Black pepper chicken...spring rolls are amazing

Our normal place was not open so my wife grabbed dinner from this place for take out. We had the dinner for 2 which consisted of egg rolls, chicken fried rice and beef with mixed vegetables. The egg rolls and rice were OK but the vegetables were way over cooked and the beef slices were sub par. The prices are pretty high for what you get. We will not be going back.

Great food

Chicken lo mien and house fried rice here is honestly the best thing ever! This place is honestly just amazing! The staff are always very polite and the food's always great.

My friends and I went to Canton house as our regular place in Port Colborne was closed. The place is very run down and had a strange odour when we walked in. The food didn’t taste very good except the egg roll was alright. All three of us felt sick after eating here. I was very nauseous. Will never eat here again. Also prices a rather high for the quality of food.

Best Chinese food in town. We drive there from Port all the time because all the Chinese food here sucks

Always great food!

This is my favorite place to eat in the Rose City - Black Pepper chicken is my jam and the Wonton Soup is the best. I miss the buffet days of my youth but the take out is incredible and dining in, is still an option. People who give this place less than four stars are terrible people with no taste buds; I doubt they even know if they are wearing pants. Canton House 4 LYFE

Fresh and tastey

Been coming here for 22 years. Different owners over the years, and some changes to the menu. Sad there's no more buffet, but I get it, rising costs and all.... I always get the Black Pepper Chicken. You can't get it anywhere else. Great Lemon Chicken, really rich lemon flavor. And The Fried Rice and Wonton is great too.

The entire place needs to be gutted inside and out. I'm certain most locals and passers by think it's closed down. It really is a shame because the food is amazing, the prices are great, the portions are very large and the size of the restaurant is huge. We need Gordon Ramsey to save this place from itself because the owners seem oblivious. Seriously.

Horrible place

The best lemon chicken in town! Others serve lemon sauce rice and chicken all on an individual basis and you mix it or chicken balls and lemon sauce. Canton has a beautiful presentation when you pop the lid off with thinly sliced veggies with chicken chunks in a thick lemon sauce.Yummy! Wish you still delivered

In a city flush with solid Chinese food options, canton house doesn't do anything to stand out from the pack negatively or positively.

Been going here for Chinese food for over 10 years... so good! Food is delicious...i highly recommend the black pepper chicken. Very yummy! Owner is a very nice kind man.

We've been ordering regularly from the Canton House for well over 15 years. We'd always order the Dinner for Four with a few tweaks. The food was always excellent and the delivery always courteous and without fail. We were very disappointed when we called to place an order today to learn that they were no longer offering delivery service. Not sure when that occurred as we haven't been able to order in a while. This is very sad to us as we are without transportation and are across the city, so this may very well be the end of our ordering with Canton House unless they are able to again offer this service. Thank you so much to the delivery staff who have braved both the heat of summer and the snow of winter to bring us our Canton House deliveries! :)

This restaurant has lots of good history, but may be in decline as of late. I enjoyed the food though.

Great service. Really fresh and tasted great. Many options and price was good. My family loved it. We'd come back.

First time ordered from this place. It was a take out order. Egg roll was greasy, chicken fried rice tasted burn't, chicken balls were doughy and the ribs were overdone. So disappointed. Not going back.

Expensive

Great tasting food at an unbeatable price. Had the House Fried Rice and Shrimp, Beef, Chicken with Mixed Vegetables Dinner Special. The food was hot, and the service was excellent. Will definitely return.

good food but way over priced to far east in niagara falls and they have,nt updated there pricess there website says combos are 9.20 but they are now 12 dollars
